Sonny Curtis
Sorry, sold out
"Reflections"
Sonny Curtis is best known as the steel player who backed George Jones and Tammy Wynette during the 1960's and 70's. One track on this CD, "Steelin' Home", was recorded live with The Jones Boys in 1967. Some of the tracks were originally recorded in 1973 and remixed for this project, while others are totally new recordings.
Sonny left the road in 1980 due to the illness of his wife, Joyce, who passed away in 1997. He has since remarried. Barbara Curtis has worked with him on this project, adding backup vocals to sweeten the mix. To be honest, the production is so smooth that it's hard to tell the old tracks from the new. Sonny certainly hasn't lost his touch!
