"A Trip To The Country"
What is it about records from Texas? The studios there seem bent on producing the perfect country music sound, and they succeed time and time again.
For this CD, Jody tapped the considerable vocal talents of Johnny Bush, Frenchy Burke, Darle Cameron, Tommy Ward and Bill Middleton. But this is still, first and foremost, a pedal steel album! If Jody's ride and backup on "Together Again" doesn't get your attention, you're just not a real steel guitar fan. As good as they are, the vocals just fill the spaces between the steel parts, which will knock you out!
"I Love You So Much" invokes the spirit of Jimmy Day so well, it brought tears to my eyes. Great job, Jody.
