The 10-string C6th copedent is usually found on the back neck of a D-10 pedal steel.
Most steel guitarists prefer nickel wound strings, but some
prefer the long-lasting brightness of stainless steel wounds. Note that
the difference between nickel and stainless only affects the wound strings.
It is the alloy used for the windings.
In our Jagwire prepackaged sets, please feel free to substitute a gauge or two
if a set doesn't quite meet your needs. The list of available gauges can be found on the singles page. Sorry, but no substitutions are available in the SIT or GHS sets.
