"Steel Guitar Favorites"

Gary Carpenter is widely recognized as one of the hottest pedal steel players in Texas. This CD features Gary playing all steel instrumentals with a top notch Texas rhythm section. There is a lot of music on this album - 16 songs in all - and not one bad note that I could hear. The one that sticks in my mind best is "Poor Side Of Town". I never expected to hear it as a steel instrumental, and now I can't imagine it any other way. Great job, Gary!
